Gearbox is an onchain credit protocol enabling lending, leverage trading, and farming in a DeFi-native way. The project attracted more than $7M in investments from well-known VCs and is actively expanding its product line, with more than $300M in total value locked into the protocol.

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Project Manager (UI/UX Focus) to join our team (full-time or part-time). You will be responsible for making Gearbox’s interface simpler, clearer, and more convenient for users, helping translate complex DeFi mechanics into intuitive flows.

Responsibilities

• Drive UI/UX improvements by identifying pain points in user flows and simplifying the experience.

• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product researchers to deliver clean and user-friendly features.

• Collect and analyze feedback from the community and transform it into actionable product changes.

• Manage the product roadmap and ensure timely delivery of UI/UX updates.

• Write clear specifications and coordinate between design, research, and development teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Product Manager in DeFi, fintech, or related industries.

• Strong understanding of DeFi mechanics: AMMs, lending markets, yield strategies, liquidations, etc.

• Track record of improving UI/UX in complex financial or trading applications.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills — ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly product requirements.

• Familiarity with Figma, Notion, and similar collaboration tools.
