VIBES is Gearbox’s community initiative, with creator group being invite-only. VIBES' previous 2 seasons were a success, enabling community members to increase $GEAR ownership and for Gearbox to expand its reach. This season we have similar goals, just a different method of execution.

The points decide the share of a pool a member earns, this pool will consist of USDC + GEAR tokens. The more points you have, the more likely you become to earn a higher share, with max being capped at 400$ per month. The prize pool is set basis 7 VIBES creators and can be increased/decreased with additions or creators withdrawing. The below image will explain it all.

Month 2 Timeline

January 15th-20th: V3 farming additions with Leveraged RWA using sDAI and Yearn Vaults for yvUSDC, yvWBTC, yvWETH

January 20th-25th: Focus moves back to trading with Pair Trading, Boosted trades and relative delivery.

Jan 25th-31st: End of Alpha testing: Focus on performance, Standing against perps, what exiting means

Feb 1st-Feb 10th: STIMMIES(tbd) and Curve Convex farms

Feb 10th-Feb 16th: STIMMIES and L2 deployments

What is Kamar-Taj?

The Kamar-Taj season is an exclusive invite only VIBES squad consisting of people we believe understand DeFi and should be highlighted more. Why specifically these people? Two reasons

• YOU deserve to be amplified: It’s tough to get noticed on CT even with great content if you have a low-medium reach. The content you create will be reposted by Gearbox Protocol, with a following of 48,000+ to boost your reach (given it matches certain quality standards).
• Content creation for Gearbox: With V3 coming out and Gearbox adding also margin trading, there’s a significant amount of educational content that we’ll now try to produce. And amazing creators like you can help us boost that content as well as create it for us.
